WEA Salaries
'Tis the season to talk about salaries. Salaries for teachers. Salaries for home health care workers. Salaries for public employees. Salaries for legislators. So how about salaries for staff of the Washington Education Association, the state's monopoly teachers' union? It might surprise you to know that in 2002-03 the average WEA staffer earns $103,146 in salary and benefits. Here are a few of the interesting stats:
